Our Mission
The objective of the Falmouth Village Association is
to work for the betterment of Main Street businesses by providing:
- An atmosphere of vibrant commerce enhanced by commercial, social,
and cultural events for all residents and visitors.
- Advertising and promotional support to its retail and professional
membership.
- A forum for the exchange of ideas relative to problems and opportunities
affecting its members.
- A voice to government and the public in issues important to its
members.
Membership
Membership is drawn from businesses or professionals
on Main Street from Shore Street to Depot Avenue. There are three
categories of membership, including:
REGULAR MEMBERSHIP
An individual, partnership, company, or corporation who or which
conducts a retail business or professional operation or owns property
in the downtown area of Falmouth or who or which shall, in the
opinion of the Board of Directors, have a legitimate interest in
the purposes and objectives of the Association.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
An individual or corporation who or which does not fall within
the category of regular membership but who or which, in the opinion
of the Board of Directors, has a legitimate reason for becoming
an Associate Member.
* Associate Membership does not carry voting
privileges.
