Things like this make us proud to represent the businesses we represent.

So many Falmouth Village Association businesses are banding together to support a truly important cause. Falmouth Fights ALS Weekend 2017 kicks off August 11th to help raise critical funds to support the fight against ALS.

If you haven’t heard of ALS, consider yourself lucky. In May of 2015, 47 year old Kevin Gosnell was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord for which there is no cure. Rather than resigning to his disease, Kevin made the courageous decision to ask questions, learn more, and effectively change the future course of this deadly disease. Kevin and his team created ALS One – a gathering of people with one mission – to bring a treatment to persons with ALS within the next four years. Did we mention Kevin was an ambitious guy?

When they heard about the mission and the cause, Falmouth Village businesses were eager to participate in any way they could. Here are some ways you can make your dollars count this weekend.

Warning, you’re going to have to do some scrolling… this town’s got a lotta love to give. <3
