The Pink Polka Dot is an award winning event planning service and local shopping stop for unique gifts, handmade cards, invitation creation, stationery and local soy handmade candles among other items. A very popular purchase for guests coming in from out of town are personal welcome gift baskets with local maps, treats like chocolate cranberry bog frogs. cape cod chips etc. A coveted gift is the pottery that can be personalized with names of children or grandchildren or with the names and wedding date or anniversary date of a happy couple.

Our beautifully curated space becomes a place we can get to know each other, and therefore better create stunning images that our clients are thrilled with. Whether it’s a newborn mother finally getting that sweet moment to sit down while we capture images of her baby in our in-house studio, or reviewing our selection of gorgeous products and prints, the space we have curated is a sanctuary of creativity and beautiful memories. 

Highfield Hall and Gardens is a beautifully restored mansion that sits on a hill surrounded by acres of preserved land. It has become a cultural center for families in town and visitors from around the world. Throughout the  year  Highfield Hall hosts a variety of events for all ages. There are culinary events with local celebrity Gail Blakely as well as chefs from near and far who come to share their talents in special event settings. Art events are numerous and range from national renowned mosaic art shows to watercolor art events, pottery and sculpture activities and exhibits and even an outdoor yarn bomb event where numerous trees were covered with artistic yarn masterpieces. Another favorite of visitors are the many diverse musical events that take place in the Hall or out on the expansive lawn.

Falmouth Museums on the Green is located just off the historic Falmouth Village Green and is a campus of numerous building.  The c.1790 Dr. Francis Wicks House is an example of what life was like for a physician in a Federalist-era home. The Cultural Center hosts a variety of public programs, lectures and events for both children and adults an is also available for private rentals.The Museum Visitor Center is located in the Hallett Barn and where  tour tickets can be purchased. The c.1730 Conant House is where the offices of the Historical Society are located as well as where exhibitions are held. An exhibit on “Circa 1870-Victorian Life in Falmouth” is a current feature. The Falmouth Garden Club are the masters of a Colonial-style flower garden, an herb garden and a Memorial Park on the grounds. Visitors are welcome to picnic in the gazebo or stroll the gardens during daylight hours.
