Seasons Greetings from Falmouth Village
Seasons Greetings from Falmouth Village are being sent to you. Our many diverse retail, restaurant, service and lodging members of the association are happy to extend a holiday greeting and are ready to help you with your celebration preparations and gift selections. Main Street is festive with decorated lamp posts and individual window displays spreading goodwill and cheer.
Several of our restaurants are offering wonderful gift card options this year from Anejo, to Stone L’oven and Parkside Market to name a few. A common offer is to purchase a $100 gift certificate and get a $20 gift certificate for you. Retailers are offering many fun shopping opportunities like Treasure Chest’s creative ladies wish list night and mens shopping night.
Be sure to join our Falmouth Village facebook page where you will get up to the minute information on such offerings from our members. For example a fun facebook activity that we reposted from one of our association members The Pink Polka Dot, is their annual Twelve Days of Christmas Giveaway! Check back each day for a chance to win a new prize from our their favorite local vendors.
Seasons Greetings and be sure to come down and shop local at our many unique and personal shops and restaurants for the holidays and year round.
This weekend December 5 – 7 join the annual Holidays by the Sea in Falmouth for a whirlwind of activities as sponsored by the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce and its members. A highlight of the Holidays by the Sea is the annual Holiday Stroll along Main Street that is sponsored by the Falmouth Village Association. On Saturday December 6th, stores are open late and offering treats as you stroll along Main Street and end at the Village Green for the tree lighting and carols.
Festivities for Holidays by the Sea begin with the Holiday Carol Sing st Nobska Lighthouse on Friday December 5th at 5:30 pm and conclude on Sunday December 7th following the 51st Holiday Parade that steps off at noontime at the Falmouth Mall and proceeds down Main Street to the Village Green. Known as Southeastern Massachusetts’ largest holiday parade featuring theme decorated floats, marching bands, live animals, costumed characters and Santa Claus! Be sure to stay on Main Street and get a bite to eat at any of the many great restaurants. Then take a stroll along Main Street to work off your lunch and get some holiday shopping done too.
